U.S. MISCELLANEOUS FIREARMS PRODUCTION FOR SECOND YEAR IN A ROW
Shooting Industry magazine publishes latest ATF industry data for 2018July 7, 2020 (Hebron, Kentucky)–Shooting Industry magazine has released its comprehensive “U.S. Firearms Industry Today” feature that includes insights from the ATF’s 2018 Annual Firearms Manufacturing & Export report (AFMER)—the latest data available released in January 2020 to comply with the Trade Secrets Act.
Anderson Manufacturing—one of the nation’s largest and most trusted manufacturers of rifles, parts and accessories—is proud to announce that it has once again been ranked number one in the U.S. Miscellaneous Firearms Production category.
The top producer with 322,546 miscellaneous firearms in 2018, Anderson Manufacturing continued to out-produce all other U.S. firearms manufacturers within the category—including Palmetto State Armory, Aero Precision, Brownells Inc., Remington Arms Co., Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc., among others.
The company also topped the list in 2017, producing 211,382 miscellaneous firearms. The figures for U.S. production of miscellaneous firearms were new to the 2017 report—providing one more barometer of the overall health of the industry.
