Build Your Own: Phase One

Here at Anderson Manufacturing we enjoy not only manufacturing our parts right here in Hebron, Kentucky, we also enjoy building our own, do you? If your answer's yes, then this will be the series to pay attention to. We are going to roll through, week-by-week, and go through the steps of an Anderson build.

We're going to start at the universal base for anyone's build and that is selecting the lower receiver that will meet the caliber criteria and purpose for your build, while also accommodating shooter comfort and ergonomics.

BELOW ARE LOWER RECEIVER OPTIONS FROM ANDERSON MANUFACTURING

AM-10 Gen II Closed Lower Receiver

Some things to take note of: Closed lowers, lowers that have a forged trigger guard. Open Lowers, these lowers give you the option for a custom trigger guard as they are forged without one. Elite lowers, have a nylon tipped tension screw to ensure a tight fit between upper and lower receiver.
