I couldn’t believe the price I had to get it from my local firearms dealer. Used it with their lowers parts kits and the only thing I can say is Perfect. This lower matches up perfect with my DPMS upper receiver.

I just finished a build using this AM Lower, and I was very impressed with the quality, fit and tolerances of it. I was even more impressed when I matched it up with several different uppers, and it fit like a glove on everyone of them. I’m looking forward to using more AM products in the future.

    • Thank you

I have built out two of these lowers. One I used a Anderson upper and lower. and the second only the Anderson lower. both were perfect. and fit and finish are second to none. and at a great price. I live in Kentucky and I am proud to say I have Kentucky made parts on both of my ar rifles. I will ad that I bought a blem. upper at a very good deal and it was still better looking than other brands. To me that means great quality control. If you are thinking of buying anything from Anderson DO IT YOU WONT REGRET IT.

    • Doug thank you for the great comment!

I’m on my eight AR build using Anderson parts. I had zero issues, the Anderson parts, though I have had issues with other manufacturers. I am also using Anderson parts in customized builds. They mix and match well.

So far I bought 3 lowers, and 6 uppers, and 4 BGC. So far I am really impressed with the quality of their product and customer service. I am for sure going to push to sell the Anderson products in my store to other AR builders. With great price and customer service like they have, my customers will be happy! Thanks guys!

Just finished an AR pistol build with an Anderson blem lower I purchased locally on sale for $48. It had 3 spots on it that rubbed out, looks great ! . PSA lower parts kit and Red X Arms upper barrel assembly fit perfect onto Anderson lower receiver. Completed build with Rousch pistol buffer kit and Magpul accessories. Would not hesitate to purchase more Anderson products based on my experience ! Thanks Anderson Manufacturing !

I ordered two Anderson lowers from one of my locale dealers. One to build now for an custom upper I finished and one for my next project as soon as I figure out what it is I want. I was very impressed with these lowers. The fit was spot on and the finish flawless. I believe you could not purchase a better forged lower at any price no matter who’s name is on it. Now, to talk the wife into letting buy a 10 pack.

  16. 5 out of 5

Purchased a lower last week.Outstanding craftmanship say’s it all. I plan to get another one soon. I have shown it to everyone who build’s and all say the same thing,,,well done………………………….

  17. 5 out of 5

Just finished my complete Anderson rifle build with Magpul stock, grip and sights. With a Yankee Hill rail. Shoots perfectly and looks awesome, can’t wait to start another build. Using as a duty rifle. ( I would have posted pictures if I could).

Caught one of these on sale at my local range/shop for 99$, since I’m new to the AR scene, it seemed like a good deal. I never heard of Anderson MFG, but I bit. Little did I know that the exact same lower is in their site (and many other sites/stores) for 10$ cheaper or less, so I felt a bit ripped off. That aside, I convinced the shop to throw in a CMMG lower for an additional 20$, so it wasn’t all bad. For the price this seems to be a pretty robust lower, I admit I dinged it a bit during assembly, but again, it’s my first build, so live and learn. After researching some, Anderson MFG should be more widely known for its quality machining. I’m looking forward to buying an upper from them and using their products to finish my very first build. Thank you Anderson, it’s too bad some places mark up your products.

I have built ARs for quite awhile now, and this is one of the best lowers I have seen. When I measured one of the ones I had come through it matched up to the MIL Spec drawing and tolerances perfectly. Assembling this lower is very easy and there is no slop in parts. I would highly recommend Anderson parts and receivers to anyone wanting a high quality build at a reasonable price.

  20. 5 out of 5

Love the Anderson lowers. Fit and finish has always been perfect and the price just can’t be beat. Only complaint is that the lower says .223/5.56 rather than multi cal. I currently have 5.45×39 and 7.62×39 builds on Anderson lowers and would prefer a multi marked lower.

  21. 5 out of 5

My second Anderson Rifles lower build coming up! First raw forging (based on the tiny raised “keyhole” on the lower) indicates the “white” blank came from Cerro Forge in Weyers Cave, VA. (This is a “5 Gold Stars” forging shop!; many say all lowers headed to Colt for every DoD-contracted M4 / M16 came from there!) Anderson’s superb machining & finishing is no less the quality. I examined my first one visually and with MIL-spec gages and it passed with flying colors on every point. You can pay more for a stripped lower – if a particular “big name” on the left side of the mag well rings your chimes – but you WILL NOT find any of better quality.

  22. 5 out of 5

Just ordered your product. Will pick it up Saturday! My local shop here in Flat Rock, In really filled me in on things i didn;t know and educated me on your product. I look forward to my build!

  23. 4 out of 5

Bought at a gunshow for $65. It took me two days(newb) to figure out what was missing though: the Forward Assist. I don’t consider that a deal killer though because I’ve never had to use the one I’ve got and I feel if an AR fails to go into battery maybe the last thing you need to do is try to hammer another round into place. Also I’m not a MilSpec Junkie. Appears to be beautifully machined though all I’ve placed into it so far is the trigger group and safety selector(waiting on parts). I’m thinking of mating this with a Stag Arms Model 6H upper for a varminter setup. I hope I’m not disappointed! Thank God for YouTube and the instructional videos!

    • The forward assist is on the upper receiver.

Great quality lower can’t ask for much more. Flawless finish with no blemishes, tool marks or imperfections. Don’t forget the upper and parts kit. Now stop reading these reviews and go buy it. Thanks again Anderson for another quality product.

  28. 5 out of 5

I chose this lower over a Spikes lower (only two types available at local gun store. This was my first AR build and I have not had a single issue with it (other than with the assembler). If I can convince the wife that I “need” to build another AR I would not hesitate to use this lower again

  29. 5 out of 5

Couldn’t ask for a better product at a better price! Have purchased three lowers so far and will purchase more in the future!

  30. 5 out of 5

I have 3 AR’s all built on Anderson lowers, the quality is top notch and I have had zero issues. Why would anyone waste their time on polymer lowers when Anderson is making such a great aluminum lower at such an affordable price. At my gun shop I recommend them to anyone looking for a lower.

  31. 5 out of 5

I decided on one of the 223/556 marked ones and it is perfect. Don’t hem and haw. Buy one of these. You won’t regret it.

  32. 5 out of 5

Anderson makes very good lowers, for a reasonable price. The finish & machining is superb. Ive used several for builds, and they have not let me down. I insist on using Anderson Lowers for my builds & ask for them at my local gunshop. Get yourself an Anderson LPK, and you have a very affordable & quaility complete lower!

  33. 5 out of 5

Many dealers seel other receivers at such high markup. Some people feel that a name makes a product better? Well when the military shops we all know how the buy! So, my belief is to shop wisely! And when I found my gun shop had these in stock at such a great price and seeing the Q.C. upon inspection, it was a no brained for me! Thanks Anderson Arms, for making a very high quality partpart that really does take mil spec parts without any problems! I feel this is one of those best kept secrets out there, so I told 2 of my friends and one of them bought 2 lowers, just like I did! Keep up the great work and an honest my fair price!

I got your milspec lower from a local gun shop. the finish and workmanship look excellent as was the price. can’t wait to start my build. I had no idea that you also made lower parts or I would ahve ordered from you. Looking at your prices, I’m inclined to get the rest of the parts from your company as will when I build a rifle for my son.

  36. 5 out of 5

Great product…..very pleased with quality and price. One quick question, is the trigger pin a large hole .170″ or a small .154″? I’m shopping for a high end trigger group for a DMR and don’t have calipers to check the inside diameter of the trigger pin hole on the reciever.

    • .154

    Hello,

I very seldom write a review, but I felt inclined to share my experience with Anderson Manufacturing lower receivers.

A little background on us; I am the VP of a firearms training center with locations through out CA, AZ, TX and NV. I personally purchased 6 Anderson lowers from my local gun store with the intent of putting them into service as rental weapons because of the great price. After thousands of rounds and countless hours of student abuse I can tell you with certainty that these lowers are well made and stand up every bit as well as our Colt, BCM and Vltor weapons. The best part is the quality does not suffer one bit and they are 1/3 the price of the other manufactures. We are considering using nothing but Anderson products for our rental rifle program.

Do not worry about the low price, purchase with confidence and enjoy a well made lower.

  39. 5 out of 5

Purchased two of the Anderson stripped lowers from Herb Bauer’s Sporting Goods, Fresno, CA. Had the opportunity to see them in store before purchasing, so I did not hesitate to purchase (regular list price). My generic LPK installed with ease and this lower mated to my uppers perfectly. Fit and finish is excellent. What more could you ask for in a Mil-Spec lower? Highly recommended!

  40. 5 out of 5

Best value lower receiver for the money. If you want a no nonsense lower receiver Anderson is the best. Great machining and fit. 5 stars all the way.

  41. 2 out of 5

I purchased one and was really excited. I am new to the AR platform and this is my first build. I assembled the lower without any issues. When my friend (who also purchased one) came over to assemble his I noticed the wall thickness on his on both sides of the cavity where the trigger group sits was the same thickness, I looked at mine and it was not. This concerned me so I called Anderson to ask if this was an issue after sitting on hold for 15 minutes (I was obviously forgotten about while I listened to somebody working at there desk) I finally spoke to someone in the QE department and was not impressed. I was not treated with concern it was almost like I was bothering him with a stupid question, but to me it is concerning. He told me it was PROBABLY no big deal the tool may have run out. BTW the side of the lower that is thinner is the side where the mag catch is and it does not move smoothly in and out. I will take this into my local shop and see what he says about it. I have re-worked my shopping cart a few times on here as I planned to buy the rest of my parts from here because of the good prices and reviews but I am seriously having second thoughts. I am only giving 2 stars because of the good price.

I have now purchased 20 of your Lower Receivers this year and have had “0” issues with them. All were Perfect. No Tooling Marks, No Color Imperfections and all Lower Parts, some from Anderson and some from other manufactures went In with no problems. I have also purchased many of your Upper Receivers with “0” Issues. Most All of your Products I have either purchased or have used to build Rifles I have had NO PROBLEMS with. Your Upper to Lower Fit is consistent with each and every Rifle I have Built and I can not say that about some of the other Manufactures. I Thank You for being one of the Best Manufactures of AR Parts. I will most defiantly buy my parts from Anderson from now on.

    Thank You

I wanted to follow up and let everyone know that my issue with my lower is being taken care of. Tom took care of it and it will be sent back tomorrow and they are covering the FFL transfer fees. On top of that he gave me free shipping on my barrel and BCG today. Thanks for looking into my concern and taking care of your customers that means allot now a days!!

Built my first two AR-15’s using your lowers with the help and recommendations of a friend who had great AR build experience. They assembled flawlessly and now I am hooked on building ARs. I ordered four more AA lowers and picked them up last week! Great prices for a fantastic product! I am looking at your website now at upper’s and BCG’s because of your lower quality. Thanks.

What more can I say that hasn’t already been said about the quality and craftsmanship of this lower. Nothing so I won’t. What I will touch on is there great customer service. I had originally purchased a in the white lower because I had missed this one. Low and behold the next day here it was. So I called up spoke with a very courteous gentleman and by the end of the conversation I had this one instead and am completely happy. I thought it was really cool of these guys to let me swap the items I purchased after the order had already been processed. Great product great service.

I finally assembled my first ever ar last night using this lower, wow fit and finish very nice, very clean and a great price. Thanks for making a quality American made product. Ordered 3 more just off of the quality of the first without even putting it together.

I have literally sold hundreds of these lowers. I also have built probably 20-25 rifles using them. The Anderson LPK is the best out there. I have used CMMG, DPMS, Rock River, Palmetto State, and others, none of them have a trigger comparable to the Anderson. I love Anderson parts and components. Keep it up guys.

Just picked up one of your stripped lowers. Couldn’t be more satisfied. For the price I was expecting some rough machining inside or just anodized on the outside. Nope, al l around beautifully done one small blemish on the inside of the buffer tube threading. Extremely well done. I will be buying more in the future. And being from the Evansville area, its especially nice to know you guys are semi local.

  56. 5 out of 5

Bought this lower from my LGS. It was the cheapest option there and it fits my needs perfectly. I did my first every AR build with it as a 20″ SPR rifle. Looks great, finish is great, fit is great. I had a minor issue with getting the screw for the pistol grip into the lower, but after talking to Anderson’s excellent customer service rep I was assured that it was just anodizing on the threads. It took a little bit of elbow grease but I got it in and secure. I think the rollmark on this lower is good looking. The horse isn’t gaudy and looks good on the side of the rifle. I filled mine in with white crayon (learned that trick from an online forum) and it looks really great on the side of the rifle.

  57. 4 out of 5

Second lower from them well pleased but one item
the trigger guard ears are thinner on one side of the second lower rear ears are .099 left .124 right Front are better .111 left. .119 right. This is a non blem quality control should be a bit better the ears are not very thick from design to begin with. I asked if it should be safe, I was told “I assume so that you would be ok to use” by customer support Not sure I care for the i assume answer I do hope they check that others aren’t having this issue. Otherwise great fit finish

Nice lowers. When are you getting more in stock. Have a hand full for customers wanting them

  59. 2 out of 5

after further inspection after installing the lower parts kit I also found that the fire control well wall and magazine wall thickness varied greatly from left to right besides my prior inspection finding the trigger guard ear the same way. then being told by customer service that it was within spec? (Not one lower was like this I inspected at the last gun show)this is not quality control and 2 emails to customer service (I’ll send you a t-shirt and some stickers)proves that your company is not interested in customer satisfaction

  60. 5 out of 5

Built 8 AR-15’s over the last 16 months using only ANDERSON LOWERS for myself, and friends. EVERY ONE of the stripped lowers were PERFECT in fit and finish, and I never paid more than $79 for them. Today my LGS sent out an email saying they got a batch in of these MULTI-CALIBER LOWERS in for $69 each.Sent the wife down to grab me a couple, AND WOW, Talk about a good, SOLID LOWER, got some weight to it!! The finish is Deep Black and looks sweet.! Gonna put a nice 20″ DEL-TON upper on it,a Harris bi-pod, and use it for varminting.KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ANDERSON!!

  61. 5 out of 5

Great lower receiver, and great products in all your offerings. Built mine last year, just went to Turners a couple of weeks ago and bought two more, although they are on back order I can wait. I’m going to build one of them with as many RF85 parts you have available to use. I’m curious how that performs. I’ll let you know.

  62. 4 out of 5

Just started my first AR build. I bought a blemished multi cal lower on gunbroker. If it was blemished, I sure couldn’t find it. I bought most of the parts on gunbroker including anderson barrel, upper, BCG and lower parts kit. I have been very impressed with the quality, fit and finish. And I am still waiting on the barrel. This could turn into a very expensive addiction. Anyone for AR Builders Anonymous? With the quality I have experienced so far, I plan on using Anderson for all my uppers and lowers.

Tom, any suggestions on changing the firearm;s color to FDE Tan?

    • Not at this time

  63. 5 out of 5

Bought a multi caliber receiver at a gun show a few weeks back. Until then I had never heard of Anderson. I got on line and found their web site. I am amazed by reading the reviews by the satisfied customers, that a company of this caliber still exist in our country.
I was going to part to together my ar from different sources but now I want to build an all Anderson weapon. I ordered the lower parts kit last week and will the upper at a later date.
    Keep up the good work.

I got this receiver after a friend of mine suggested it. He assembled it with a parts kit which is relatively easy (just watch a reliable YouTube video). The transfer is easy through an FFL dealer and most charge about $20-25 for the paperwork, maybe less for just a receiver. Most gun shops/dealers and some ranges can assist you. At first I was skeptical of an inexpensive receiver but then I researched Anderson Manufacturing and decided to proceed. All I can say is WOW! I recommend looking no further. The fit, finish, reliability, and match to other finishes such as the upper are amazing!! Do not let the price (or sale price) persuade your decision. 90% of my AM15 is from Anderson because they are a small company with excellent customer service and they stand behind their products. I was truly amazed at their overall quality on every item I purchased and I will continue to buy from them because of the quality control and feeling of appreciation as a customer. I am willing to bet their RF85 oil-less items/firearms are nothing short of AMAZING also, but I will need to save up for a little while in the meantime.

So far it’s perfect. logged it in my black book but if it doesn’t sell real soon,,,well it may just end up in the Personal Collection section….nah, I’ll just buy a couple more,.

I am building my first AR using an Anderson Lower and all is well until I try to install the grip. Seems the grip screw, I have, is too long. I would like to see better/more photos of the products offered so I can compare my lower to what is offered. Is the grip bolt hole supposed to be drilled and tapped all the way through or did I just get a long screw in my build kit? I have the same entry level A2 grip sold in this site but the grip screw is much longer then the one listed here. 3/4 inch of thread will probably work great. I am in no way faulting the receiver, it looks great and I’m looking forward to finishing this build and stating a new one.

  67. 5 out of 5

Just did my first AR build with an Anderson lower. I was a little skeptical of the quality given the price, but it is fantastic! It is just as good or better than friends’ lowers that cost 3 to 5 times as much. It works perfectly, seems very durable and can’t wait to build my next one!

Anderson is great quality, great price! I’ve been through almost 3 dozen of these lowers.

  69. 5 out of 5

I am blown away by the quality of these lower receivers. I was expecting sloppy machine work and questionable surface treatments at this price point. Nope, these were as good as receivers I have seen listed for 2-3 times more from other manufacturers. Very pleased with this purchase!

  70. 5 out of 5

I’m assuming these lowers are machined to mil specifications, not just anodized to mil spec.

    • Yes Sir you are correct

  71. 5 out of 5

I have built 3 different rifles using this lower receiver and still can’t believe the quality for the price. Has matched up perfectly with every upper I have tried and their lower parts kit fits perfectly and works amazingly. Will definitely use their parts in the future.

Best lowers on the market, bar none. I have bought several of these for resale and have heard nothing but positive feedback from my customers. I’ve also built some post 86 dealer sample M4 select fire rifles with these and they function flawlessly! Thank you for an excellent product at an unbeatable price!

Great lower and upper. I picked a match set from a local dealer with an Anderson lower parts kit. I’m very happy with the fit and finish so much so I’m selling one of my DD Factory builds and getting 3 more of these for 3 gun. Really happy with the fit and finish. Yes I said it … You get a lot of bang for the buck … You other so called OEM mfg. can learn from these people at Anderson. The cerro forging keyhole is present just like some juggernauts in this biz!!! Anderson is Good 2 Go!!!!

I got this receiver for my first build. Everything matched up great with my midwest upper. Shoots great, will buy more in the near future.

This is my first custom build. I accessorised my rifle with the best I could afford. The only issue with the lower was the depth of the hole on the back of the receiver. I purchased a V7 titanium back-plate/ castle nut combo with a quick disconnect hole. The QD would not fully seat, so the QD would pull right out. I ended up drilling the hole deeper using a Brad Tip Drill bit. I just drilled a little at a time, drilled and checked repeatedly until I noticed some clearance after inserting the QD. Worked great! QD works fine now. I was reluctant at first, but I really didn’t want to return the plate. The hole in the back just needs to be machined a little deeper, otherwise, great product!

I am a 1st time builder as I picked up one of these lowers though a local ffl holder a few months back as a base for a coyote rifle. I was amazed at the quality of the unit . The unit had no burrs anywhere and the anodizing was perfect. I just installed my lower parts kit and stock assembly . All parts fit into the lower as expected . The finished unit is perfect. I plan on using Anderson again in the future.

Ive been grabbing these lowers all over the place from online to different mom and pop shops . Ive NEVER had a problem of anytype with an Anderson Lower . Built three rifles with them last week using 2 PSA uppers and a custom VLTOR / B.R.O upper and all fit , finish and function perfectly . The best part is if you scrounge the net and know where to look , you can pick them up for below 35 dollars on some sites . There is no reason not to use them and i will continue to use them as i can find them .

Purchased three lowers and uppers so far. 5.56 , 6.8 ,300 blkout. 5.56 with 18″ stainless barrel – awesome. 6.8 with 16″ barrel also awesome. Finally the 300 with 7.5″ stainless barreled pistol – Zombie apocalypse killer. Had a question and Tom answered the phone. Don’t know if that is the way it is all the time but I felt very satisfied with my experience. Vince

Not quite sure yet if I’m gonna throw five stars out, but from what I’ve seen of these lowers they look OK. Magwells are a little tight and could be rounded out better in the magwell flare corners, but other than that, not bad. Only other thing that might be an issue, though I doubt it, is the hole under the buffer tube where a QR would maybe protrude is flat instead of conical. Great prices, don’t know how y’all do it. Haven’t actually put parts in yet, if that goes well I’ll bump up to a five star review.

Live in Soviet Republic of MD – and just purchased this at local gun shop – I’m bit of a newby on building but from what I can see the finish is excellent and the gun store recommended it as a good starter – next purchase will the the upper – can anyone recommend an upper that works well and is MD complaint. Seems the MD laws are a mine field of whats allowed and whats not so any help on this would be great. Love the site excellent to navigate and love the ability to post comments.. – Many Thanks.

Excellent quality, I use these all the time now. We have built dozens of rifles with Anderson lowers and components, and there is no reason to look elsewhere. Consistent quality, excellent results every time. If you want to pay more for fancy names & logos, you’re just wasting your money. Thanks Anderson folks! MADE IN USA!!!

WOW!! I have a gorgeous AR upper all the bells and whistles and i had a DPMS lower.. The gun rattled and felt sloppy.. Have been searching for a new Lower for quite some time. Local gun shop has a “pallet” as they claim of the AM15..whipped out 3 20 dollar bills..got my background checked and left with a new lower.. The only non original part from my DPMS was the CMMG ambi safety.. And hogue grip.. All parts swapped right in. The only part i will change is the buffer tube.. As the only rattle left in the gun is the ,agpul stock and dpms buffer tube. What a wonderful perfectly made part.. Spent 2 hours disassembling and assembling.. Mostly due to a front take down pin escaping… Awesome I am telling everyone where to get these what a awesome part.. Now i have a great door stop..the old lower.. Thanks U anderson arms.. U have a new customer for life…

Building an AR15 300 AAC; spoke with the team at my local shop and they showed me this fine lower and highly recommend it. In fact the guy I spoke to has built several of his personal AR’s and showed me his own AR made using this lower. Nothing speaks volumes as seeing one in use. I purchased one and inspected it carefully. Again fit and finish was excellent. Fit to my Aero upper and a perfect fit. Waiting on my lower kit to finish the lower build. Keep up the nice work, quality, and simplicity. You will have a life long customer as I am already planning another build after this one.

Excellent quality, We’ve been building guns for the last two years on Anderson receivers. I sell a ton of these as well. My customers love Anderson! Best quality, best price. We build on Anderson components exclusively now!
Why pay twice as much for a fancy logo? Thanks to all the folks in Hebron KY!

I just bought one of these at the local indoor target range. Planning my first AR build. Upon bringing it home, I gave it a thorough inspection. I cannot find 1 imperfection, tool chatter mark, or nick in any of the machined areas. Finish is 100% uniform in color. And the price just blows my mind. The rest of this build will be Anderson all the way!

Excellent lower, great price, will use again. I’ve built 3 AR’s with these lowers, and will use these for my future builds. Perfect fit and finish. Highly recommended item.

Not a review but a question, Are these lowers also rf-85 treated? Reason I ask is because the finish is different from my first Anderson lower.

    • No Sir it’s not treated

Great product…. I’ve bought 4 lowers and halfway through completing all 4 builds…. My only gripe is that ugly horse symbol…. Lol.

Used this as a base for my custom build. The reciever is outstanding. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because during initial zero my trigger pin walked out a little and caused the weapon to malfunction. A little loctite solved the problem and no issues since. Very pleased. Will probably buy another for my next build

My first build. Got this lower at a local gun shop. Excellent quality! Initial build was properly tight and smooth. Only roughness was a related to the heavy anodizing. Rifle operates great. Very smooth tight fit with the PSA upper and PSA parts kit.

I purchased one a year ago and built a pseudo A3, rifle works perfect. Decided to build a 7.62-39 for hunting and just picked up another lower a few days ago. I haven’t done anything with it yet but I do love the new rollmark. My first one has clean and simple markings like it was actually rolled or stamped, the new one looks like it was milled. Nothing against the older style as rolling/stamping rollmarks has been done forever, the newer method looks really nice though.

What can I say, this will be my second one built of assorted parts.

    • Awesome that is great to hear.

I have always thought you get what you pay for when it came to ar15 platform rifles,I own LMT,Colt,LWRC ,Bushmaster and I bought one of these lowers a couple of year ago to build an old beater truck gun, since then I have built six of these lowers and all I can say is wow, the machining, finish and fit is as good as any above,I highly recommend these for any build !

Just bought an anodized lower for my first AR 15 build. After an extensive search of lowers
from multiple manufacturers, I believe Anderson provides the best value. I will definitely
look toward Anderson for other components and products.

Been trying to buy for a couple weeks, checking at 4:00 every day, finally got 4 in my cart Monday, 8-8-16, went right to check out, when I hit “Place order” it said they were out of stock, e-mails to support are ignored….your prices are good, but this is no longer worth my time.

    • Yes we are backlogged on lower receivers.
We are doing all we can do these back online.

    • No there are no dimples for the gas block

Best lower you can find under $75.00 and great lower parts kits.
I have built 9 AR 15 556s useing Anderson lowers , parts kit and their complete upper parts.
So far they have been great. They go together easily, fit and finish is great! Fun and easy to build.
They shoot great right of the work bench after cleaning and oiling!
Compared to a Colt that I have they are as good or Mayby superior!
    Have order more to build.
Building Ars is a hobby for me.

    *Referencing the two comments above*

I have had similar success with building Anderson based custom rifles for myself and customers alike. Every lower that I have received has been well machined and well finished. Partnered with an Anderson parts kit, you can’t go wrong in terms of quality and value. All small items fit perfectly in the lower receiver and when paired with an Anderson upper receiver, the fit gives little to no wobble. It is my “go-to” and my primary recommendation for my customers.

    However…

As I read through the comment history, I have noticed a stark change in terms of the responses given to them. Looking all the way back to 2014, customers were acknowledged, thanked and offered resolution in the rare event something was wrong. I must say that I am less than impressed with the response I received from the customer service manager in terms of product availability. I understand that this is the hottest lower receiver on the market in a frenzied environment and there will be delays in availability and shipping, but as a stocking dealer, I had hoped for a better answer than a rather curt “We’re out of stock. Check the website daily at 4pm.’. I can not imagine that response being given to Sportsman’s Guide, Gander Mountain, Buds Gun Shop, or any other retailer. I understand that as a small retailer, I am not entitled to their pricing or even their priority, but I would hope for the ability to place a backorder for merchandiser to offer the end user or even an estimate as to when I can expect to be able to offer your products to a customer. The low price coupled with quality is the reason I recommend Anderson products to my customers, however, anything item that is consistently unavailable is worthless regardless of the price. I will continue to check as that is my only course of action with this company, but it is disheartening to continue recommending these products with no idea of when they will be available and especially with the thought of what an end use would receive in terms of customer service based on what I have experienced. Perhaps when the frenzy dies down, the CS will return to form.

    • Please let us know how many lowers you are looking for? We do not have the lowers online due to our amount of lowers we are behind.
Please email me mjjohnson@andersonrifles.com and we can get an order in for you but please note it may take 6-8 weeks to get them to you.

I just finished my first 5.56 build. Everything measured out good, fit perfect and looks great. Anderson parts seem a little hard to find, however I put this together with your upper, lower and buffer tube. I was impressed enough that I went out and bought another lower today. Thanks for the quality parts.

Hi, I recently purchased a PSA defender lpk that has an ambidextrous safety. Would that still work on this lower reciever?

    • Yes it should

  106. 5 out of 5

Have built several rifles with Anderson Lowers and my latest was with one of these receivers. The fit and finish are excellent and combined with an Anderson upper and a .300 blackout barrel, this was the foundation for a nice little tack driver that is a pleasure to shoot. As I have come to expect, well done Anderson!

Just bought 3 stripped receivers today. I compared them to some mid price range lowers at the shop and the Andersons looked just as good and at a great price. I can’t wait to get my builds rolling, I expect nothing but perfection.

    • Yes Sir

When I received my Anderson lower, I was in awe at the attention to detail. I already had an upper from another company which fit perfectly. Because of pricing and precision tooling, I was able to complete my firearm. From now on, I will buy all my products from Anderson. Thank you for being a true Patriot.

    • That is great to hear

Just assembled my first ar with this lower and a delton upper kit. Very impressed. It fits better than my service rifle I had while in the army. Solid product.

    • Thank you for the support.
